Privacy Policy

Together Lists (“the app”) is made by Xenolith Holdings & Acquisitions LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how you can delete it. We wrote it in plain language. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to keep your lists and share them with the people you choose. We do not sell your information, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: when you create an account, your email address, your password (stored by Google Firebase in a protected form we cannot read), and the name you choose to show.
- Your lists: list names and icons, items, categories, check-offs, spaces, nicknames, and the names of people you add to a list.
- Photos: pictures you choose to attach to items, either taken with your camera or picked from your photo library. The app only sees the photos you pick.
- Chat messages: messages you send in a list’s chat.
- Support messages: anything you send us by email.
Information created automatically
- Technical information our service providers need to run the app securely, such as sign-in records and basic device and connection details used to keep your account safe and to fix problems.
- Subscription status: if you subscribe, Apple tells the app whether your subscription is active. We never see your payment card details; Apple handles all payments.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, or your browsing history.
2. How we use your information
- To run the app: save your lists and keep them up to date on your devices.
- To share the lists, chat and photos you choose to share with the people in that list or space.
- To provide and manage your subscription.
- To answer your support requests.
- To keep the app safe and working, including preventing abuse and fixing problems.
3. Who can see your information
- People you share with: everyone you add to a list or space can see that list’s or space’s items, photos, chat messages and the names of its members.
- Our service providers: your account, lists, chat and photos are stored using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage), which processes them for us under its own privacy and security terms. Apple handles subscription payments.
- When the law requires it: we may share information if required by law, or to protect the safety of users or others.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
4. How long we keep it
- Chat messages stop showing in the app 10 days after they are sent, and are deleted from our servers when the person who sent them, or the list’s owner, next opens the app. You can delete your own messages sooner, and a list’s owner can delete any message on it.
- Lists, items and photos are kept until you delete them, or until your account is deleted.
- When you delete your account, we delete your account and the lists you own, along with their photos and messages, within 30 days. Copies in short-term backups at our providers are removed on their normal schedule.
5. Your choices and rights
- See, change or delete your lists, items and photos at any time in the app.
- Delete your account from inside the app, or by emailing support@togetherlists.com from the address on your account.
- Turn off camera or photo access any time in your iPhone’s Settings → Together Lists.
- Ask us a question about the information we hold about you by emailing us. We will answer within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to a copy of your information. Email us and we will help.
6. Children
Together Lists is meant to be set up by adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Information sent between the app and our providers is encrypted in transit, and access to stored data is limited to what the app needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a problem affects you as required by law.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
